re: Changes to in-game rank system

Okay! As you know there are five elevated ranks, one is for the Keeper (currently Rue) one is for the second in command or in this case, the equal of the Keeper due to a deal that was IC'ly struck - this rank is known as Iconoclast and is currently held by Thorvan. The other three ranks are Chosen, Emissary, and Adept.
The new description of these three ranks are as follows:
Adept - This rank means you are elevated in the guild IN CHARACTER but are NOT an out of character officer. This means that for some reason or another, your character has some recognition among the Order members. It could be a special position you hold, the fact that you are a veteran member, maybe others look up to you, you might be the mate of the Keeper or the Iconoclast, you could be just on so much that you are tasked with certain IC responsibilities. It all depends on your RP.
Emissary - This rank means that you are an out of character officer, but are not necessarily anyone important in the Order. You can be in charge out of character as far as inviting people, settling disputes etc, and still be seen as the poo on Rue's shoe IC'ly. This rank is so that people who prefer to RP more submissive characters have a chance to be an officer in the guild if they are picked or strive for that position.
Chosen - This rank means that you are BOTH an out of character officer AND someone of IC importance to the Order. This rank is for those who have proven themselves with their RP, their time devoted to the guild, and who have shown their loyalties and skill in game to the Order as well.
If you have any questions about these ranks, or what you can do to gain any of them, let me know. I will be happy to go over certain points that are a requirement before anyone is promoted to the higher positions.
Thanks!!
