re: Miraelath Rhelder

0
Full name: Miraelath "Pristine" Rhelder, The Alchemical Construct
Race: Gilnean Worgen
Age: 27
Family: Dead
Height: 5'2" as human, 6'5" as worgen.
Weight: Thin and light as a human, muscular and heavy as worgen.

Appearance (Human): Miraelath, otherwise known as "Pristine", is a short woman, approximately 5'2". She speaks softly but with purpose in a very faint Gilnean accent, often betraying her shyness with outbursts of anger and feistyness. Her pale skin is contrasted by her pitch black, shoulder length hair and peircing green eyes.
Appearance (Worgen): In worgen form, Mira is -much- taller, standing at a somewhat more imposing 6'5". She is well toned in this form, quite unlike that of the usual priest and could theoretically stand toe-to-toe with the average melee fighter using only her claws and pent-up aggression.

Runes (Both Forms):
Shoulder runes -
Both connect to the markings that run up and down both arms, forming a sort of energy feed to the reanimation runes.
The one on her left shoulder helps her to absorb arcane energy from her environment. The one on her right is a connection to a death-knight friend that draws energy from the death knight and converts it to arcane at a distance, feeding the priest. If on another plane of existence or world, the priest will have to find other sources of arcane energy to sustain her runes.

Arm runes-
These run up and down both her left and right arms and connect to her shoulders. They serve to animate her body and keep it together, also allowing for her regenerative abilities to function within her alchemically enhanced blood.

Forehead rune-
Currently useless. All it serves as is to be an obvious mood ring for her states of health, changing colors according to well-being.
Blue = Healthy. The brighter the better.
Turquoise = Health failing or perhaps suffering from arcane withdrawal.
Green = Health definitely failing. Something is going on with her energy sources, she's poisoned or diseased (Her blood does not have the ability to cure this) or any other form of ailment. She would be weak in this state. The paler the color of green, the worse off she is.

Enhanced Alchemical Blood-
Her blood is emerald colored rather than red because it was made through alchemy when she was recreated after an "accident" with an explosion. This blood is more delicate, taking a longer time to multiply itself than normal humanoid blood.

Regeneration-
She can regenerate any and all physical wounds, but not so fast as to save a fight. It takes longer depending on how bad a wound is (obviously) and she won't just miraculously heal a severed limb. Bullets or arrows piercing vital organs such as her brain or heart must be removed before these organs can function and she can come back to life. Limbs must also be reattached if she is going to heal them. Diseases and poisons must be cleansed as her blood only heals physical wounds.

Backstory:

-General History-

Miraelath was born 7 years before the building of the wall of Gilneas to a family of nobles with a nice house in the heart of the city. When she turned 8 years old, she was found to be quite interested in the priests that roamed the chapel and sent there to study, where she learned a great deal about holy magics and served the church faithfully until well into her adulthood.

About when she turned 20, she discovered a priest in the catacombs of the chapel in shadowform, channeling dark magic and was immediately curious rather than shocked, as he seemed to do this when he thought nobody was watching. Mira would continually spy on his practices until spotted, in which case the priest decided to teach her everything he knew. She kept this knowledge but did not use it yet.

Eventually the worgen curse hit and Miraelath was one of the first to get bitten and nearly killed on a routine visit to Stormglen to heal a sickly person. After thus, she spent a long time raiding the countryside, eventually making her way back to the city, where she stalked every last surviving member of her family and brutally murdered them. Once caught and given the temporary cure, she would reflect on this and be driven to near madness with regret, taking up her shadow magics and dropping her skills in healing entirely for a great period of time.

Much later on when she became more stable and decided to forget the past by using shadow magic on her own mind, she developed 2 different versions of consciousness: one of light in which she appears more calm and rational with the abilities to heal, and one of darkness in which she is almost always in worgen form, full of anger and shadows.

-The Runic Curse (IC events)-

Miraelath eventually made her way to the city of Stormwind after fleeing Gilneas, where she met a group of criminals. Like a gullible child searching for a family, she joined them and spent many days healing the members that were hurt after being wounded performing nefarious acts. Eventually all this caught up with her and she began to regret her involvement in such an order, shortly after leaving to join the military.

The members of her "Family" did not take kindly to her leaving. They sent the most powerful mage in their arsenal to hunt Mira down, eventually capturing her and turning her body into a living bomb from the inside out using alchemy and fire magic as punishment. After such an event she was seemingly beyond the ability to revive...except by the magus. This magus gathered together bits of fur, bone and tissue and performed a rite of resurrection, filling the new body that became of the rites with alchemical, regenerative blood and covering it with runes of reanimation. As a last safeguard, the magus put a seal of mind control on Mira's forehead to be certain her new creation would be of use.

Miraelath was then given the nickname "Pristine" by the magus, who she now saw as the motherly figure that gave her life, because she had used the rune to erase the more violent bits of the past. As a result, she served this magus in various ways and rejoined the family of criminals as a healer once again. This did not last long, however, as soon enough afterward the "Family" got into a huge battle and were all but killed off. Mira survived this by playing dead with her wounds and later regenerating, finding herself in a world without a family.

Eventually she met and married Odyssius Rhelder.
