The New Seal of VII

[Xaloch]

Keeper Rune
-- There are only two of these runes at current time. One belongs to Rinay and the other belongs to Xaloch. Only those with Keeper Runes can issue 'Blood Seals', which are given to Operatives of the Order. A Blood Seal can only be given when the desire is mutual between both parties. Those with a Keeper Rune have four functions.

- Function #1: The first function is a security measure. It allows a those with a Keeper Rune to locate those with other Keeper Runes, Blood Seals, Slavemaster Seals, or Temporary Seals down to an area of fifty square feet. Should it be a betrayer being hunted down or a member in need of assistance, this will aide Keepers in locating them. The means of pinpoint is like the pulse of a heartbeat, with the lapse between beats sounding faster the closer you get.

- Function #2: A Keeper can open a telepathic channel with any member of the Order for a short period of time. However, a member of the Order cannot open the channel themselves.

- Function #3: A Keeper, from any distance, can cut off the magic to a Seal temporarily and deem it powerless at any time. This can be reversed, but takes a toll of the Keeper. This cannot be used frequently within a short timespan.


Slavemaster Seal
-- There are only ever two slavemasters at any one time. They allow the user to give Temporary Seals or Slave Seals. The Slavemaster Seal has a few unique abilities.

- Ability #1: A Slavemaster may locate only those with a Slave Seal down to an area of fifty square feet. This works the same as a Keeper Rune's function, but only for those with Slave Seals.

- Ability #2: The second ability works only on those with a Slave Seal as well. It allows the Slavemaster to read the surface thoughts of the target.

Blood Seal - "Operative"
-- These seals are given to Operatives of the Order by those with Keeper Runes when both parties desire it. The Blood Seal is burned into the flesh, creating a seal of black ash that cannot be removed by conventional means. It allows an Operative to enter/exit the manor and use the communication network of the Order. HOWEVER, THEY CANNOT TELEPATHICALLY COMMUNICATE THROUGH THE SEAL and must verbally speak.

Traits of Runes/Seals
-- Only those with a seal may enter/exit the manor's domain. Even those who are not Operatives of the Order may enter/exit with a Temporary Seal or Slave Seal. -NOTE- that the Order seal negates the effects of any other seal/rune/marking/etc which would otherwise cause loss of control of your character. HOWEVER, curses/spells/potions/diseases still work as normal.

Special:
Altered Blood Seals
-- These seals are exactly like normal Blood Seals, but are altered for officers of the Order. It allows them to hand out Temporary Seals which can last for one hour or one day until one with a Keeper Rune can administer a Blood Seal for the new recruit. This altered seal can use Function #2 of the Keeper Rune.

Temporary Seals
-- These seals are only given by those with a Keeper Rune. They allow temporary passage into the manor. However, those with a Temporary Seal must stay within close proximity of the Keeper Rune or have their seal disappear.

Slave Seals
-- These seals are usually administered to those who are captured and enslaved to the Order, under the direction of a Slavemaster. They are subject to Slavemaster Seal abilities. Those with a Slave Seal can enter the manor grounds, but never leave it without a Slavemaster's permission.
